We all love our pets so much, sometimes its heartbreaking to leave them behind when we go somewhere for holiday. It is also difficult to make arrangements for them to be fed and taken care of while we are away. Most hotels, inns and holiday cottages have a ‘no pets' policy and you are left with no choice but to leave them at home or at a friend. Dogs are the most common pets we have and the ones we are most attached to, the reason being, they themselves want to spend time around their owners. So what if you have the opportunity to take your well behaved dog with you on holiday?

There are literally hundreds of hotels and motels to chose from in the Las Vegas area, so keep reading to find one that fits your vacation needs without breaking your budget.

If you're looking for a convenient location with all the extras - a large casino, shows onsite, buffets and fine dining - and you have a medium to large budget, staying on the Strip is a great idea. Many iconic Las Vegas hotels are on the Strip, from the 5-star Bellagio to the 2-star Sahara.

Luxury, convenience, and indulgence come to mind when thinking of the Bellagio resort. The resort offers rooms ranging from a Deluxe Room, a small single room going, on average, for $180 a night, to the Penthouse Suite, a one bedroom, two bathroom 1,536 square foot suite located on the upper floors of the hotel available for $489 a night. Enjoy nightclubs, a spa and salon, Cirque du Soleil shows, and fine dining all on location.

Looking for a family-friendly Strip resort on a budget? Excalibur is the choice for you! With rates regularly falling below $45 a night, plus occasional deals ranging from $30-$40 a night, a stay at Excalibur affords you royal treatment on a peasant's wages. The resort boasts a casino, shows including their famous dinner show Tournament of Kings, six restaurants including the "all you can feast" Roundtable Buffet, shopping, golf, pools, a spa, and a Spongebob Squarepants ride for the kids.

Want to stay at a budget hotel/motel off the beaten path? The Days Inn Las Vegas at Wild West Gambling Hall, located west of the Strip, is close enough of the Strip for easy access while being away from the hustle and bustle. With nightly rates of $29 and discounts for longer stays, the Days Inn is sure to fit even tight budgets. If you don't want to make the 1-mile trek to the Strip, the Days Inn has its own casino, an onsite Denny's restaurant and a 24-hour bar and lounge.

Should you want to stay in downtown Las Vegas on the cheap, El Cortez Hotel and Casino offers a place to stay with onsite casino and a steakhouse. Directly accessible from the hotel is the Fremont Street Experience, a pedestrian mall with regular light shows running from 8:30pm - midnight. Galway Bay offers scenic vistas and a bit of Irish history, and there is an astonishing number of hotels to house visitors who want comfort and activity. Price lists claim budget rooms for €14 up to luxury rooms for €120. Most places seemed to fall into the €50-€90 level as might be expected. Some claims of low rates did not seem accurate when researched, but may be listed in the off-season.

The one 5-star hotel in Galway is the G Hotel for €120. It offers every amenity in luxurious surroundings, including ESPA with a variety of desirable spa treatments. The relaxing atmosphere of ESPA is evidenced in heated lounge chairs, eight treatment rooms, a sauna, a rain shower and a crystal steam room. The ice fountain and relaxation room overlooking the Zen garden would take the edge off within seconds. The gym and pool round out the healthy activity sites in the hotel. There is a restaurant with an extensive Irish menu as well as a cocktail bar with themed lounges. Overlooking Lough Atalia near Galway Bay, the views are decidedly refreshing and serene. In-room bathrobes and slippers are part of the standard coddling of guests to lounge in as they use the free WiFi.

The polar opposite of the luxury stay is the budget hostel for about €23. These money-saving rooms are clean, bright and updated, if staying with a mixed group of six or eight is acceptable. A common room with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen are open to all guests and free WiFi is usually in public areas of the hotel. The Barnacles Quay Street House is in this category and is a five-minute walk from the bus and train stations. It is in the center of the city near shopping and dining areas. There are no children under 16 permitted, and if older ones are present, a family room must be booked; no minors in mixed rooms. The Barnacles asks for a damage and noise deposit on arrival for groups of four or more.

The middle level hotels in between the luxury and budget categories seem luxurious in comparison to the basic hostels. The Carlton Suites Hotel in Galway offers rooms for €79-89 and plenty of perks come with them. The health club and the indoor 22-yard pool are two such indications, and the gym, sauna and jacuzzi are part of this. Each suite has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and dishwasher, and of course crockery, but there is a restaurant in the hotel and an informal bar. This hotel has free WiFi, which seems standard in Galway. Laundry and dry cleaning are on hand if necessary. Children under 12 stay free and the main shopping area in Galway is a five-minute walk from the hotel.

The Pillo Hotel is rated as four-star and also has a spa. The Wards Hotel, in the budget category, has traditional music every Wednesday night. The Sea Breeze Lodge, overlooking Galway Bay, has memory foam mattresses, an attractive plus. There are Galway hotels to suit every taste, and in pleasurable milieus.

It's always a pleasure you travel for leisure. The joy of visiting new places, exploring the undiscovered lands, the charismatic landscapes and the warm and welcoming people make you love the place even more. As a keen traveler, I have always loved to explore new destinations and meet new people. The kind of exposure and experience you get is beyond comparison.

But beyond the joys of traveling for fun, there is also business travel that most will agree, is not as exciting. Since you are on work in another city, most of the time is spent in office or with colleagues and hence the essence of the new city is tough to capture. Also, while on business trips, the minds are more often in a serious state and it make sit difficult to live like there is no tomorrow and make the most of every day in a new city. I am not very fond of business travel since it gives a fatigue and doesn't live up to my expectations of a wonderful trip. But then again, to enable leisure travels, work is imperative and so is business travel.

There is one such business trip that I will always remember. For both the good and bad reasons, this trip was one that got instilled in my memory forever. I visited Pune some time back to work at our branch office there for a training session. The sessions were everyday from 9.00 A.M. to 6 P.M thus taking up my entire day time. But the evenings I got to myself were spent in roaming about in this wonderful city and meeting the very friendly people of Pune. Another important concern while going on a business trip is choosing between the various Business Hotels in Pune since the right hotel is very important for a smooth flowing work visit. After some good amount of Google search and a lot of asking my friends and colleagues in Pune, I chose a Business Hotel in Pune that offers good benefits and is yet very affordable. Since my office was at Viman Nagar, I was looking at hotels in that particular area. With Hyatt, Ista and Ibis, I was a little lost in choosing since all of them seemed a little expensive for just a training session. Then on looking for Budget Hotel Pune, I came across The Cypress Hotel in Kalyani Nagar. Considering that it gave me a very good Business Saver Package and a good room, I was impressed with the stay and the perks of staying there. Cypress offered me a 3 Days and 4 Nights package wherein the discount rates increased per day thus making my entire stay a very affordable one. And that's not all – the friendly staffs made me feel very relaxed every time I entered the hotel after a long day at work.

This is one visit that has become memorable not only because of the place but because of the wonderful treatment I received from Cypress Hotel. It was a pleasure to have stayed there. Work didn't seem so bad after all!!

In today's modern world, there is often little time to relax and rejuvenate. Even when taking a break and traveling, people tend to pack in as many destinations as possible into their itineraries. The reality is that we don't slow down enough, even when on vacation. What most of us need is a break from it all—a break from ringing phones and persuasive television. We need to get away to a place rich in culture and landscapes, a place where we can feel the gentle energy and customs of different people, as well as be nourished by lush, green, rolling hills and calming mountain lakes. I believe every one of us has a need for this sort of peaceful escape, yet few of us find the place to discover it.

Nestled between several volcanoes, Otavalo, Ecuador is a city with an incredibly rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes. For relaxation and rejuvenation, there is truly no better place than the Otavalo area, and in particular there is no better hotel to accompany your experience than La Posada del Quinde. Guests remark that the hotel is an "oasis" where they feel "thoroughly relaxed and very much at home," and where the employees and owner are the "friendliest" in the area.

With its simple folk décor and its friendly, attentive indigenous staff, guests can get an idea of the richness of this culture just by staying at the hotel. Nonetheless, many guests choose to explore the culture through visits to master weavers or local shamans (medicine men), or by adventuring into remote villages to get a sense of a more simplistic life. Those who need an excursion into the natural world, there are plenty of walks and hikes to be taken in the area.

While staying at the most relaxing and intriguing of Otavalo hotels, there are countless day-trip adventures to experience. For some guests, choosing to read a book by the fire or enjoy a leisurely lunch on the garden patio wins out to exploring volcanic lakes and indigenous villages. For others, the exhilaration of their daily excursions makes them just tired enough to take advantage of the comfy couches in from of the fire and the excellent showers with steaming hot water and incredible (massage-like) water pressure. After a memorable shower, guests can walk right downstairs to Café Pachamama, our on-site restaurant, featuring fresh, home-made dishes like enchilada casseroles, curry chicken pot pies, lentil-stuffed peppers and a delicious variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. Guests often gather around the fire for a drink from our bar or a hot chocolate from the café.

There is truly something for everybody here at La Posada del Quinde. And for those who like to shop, the hotel is located just blocks from Ecuador's most famous indigenous handicraft market. Between its cultural and natural beauty, there is no place like Otavalo in Ecuador. If you're looking for the best, most affordable and central hotel to stay ina place that offers a peaceful escape from life—there is no doubt that La Posada del Quinde is the place for you. There's no wonder it's rated #1 for hotels in Otavalo, Ecuador on TripAdvisor.com.

Please contact the owner Maggie Reniers at maggie@posadaquinde.com to request information or to make a reservation, and check out our website at www.posadaquinde.com. You can also read reviews of the hotel by clicking on the TripAdvisor link above.

The ocean calms by virtue of its continuity. It is always there, though frequently undergoing transformation from tranquil calm to the chaos of fierce storms and back again. This reminds us that as immortal souls we too, continue to change form as we undergo cycles of life and death, existing always.

Acceptance-Life is Easier When We Accept

The ocean is vast and mysterious, well known at its edges, unexplored at its depths. At time is peaceful and serene, friendly and accepting of human life, then a powerful and tumultuous frenzy of wind and wave energy, life-threatening for humans. We know but a fraction of an ocean, yet we accept its existence and its vagaries of behavior. Life is easier when we accept the mysterious cycles of our experiences, whether tumultuous or peaceful, understood or bewildering.

Inspiring- the Journey and Purpose of Life Captivates

An ocean inspires insight and reflection. Standing before an oceanic vastness, we recognize that we are insignificant and powerless in comparison. The ocean simultaneously humbles us and inspires reflection upon who we are and life's purpose.

Shared Energy- Join with Prevailing Energy

To stand firmly in place against even a moderate three-foot wave, you plant feet wide apart, present the smallest front possible, and brace to absorb the wave's energy. Any reasonably healthy teen can do it once, twice, perhaps a few dozen times. But resisting the wave's energy eventually takes its toll. In contrast, we can catch a wave at its peak and join it, giving ourselves to the wave, joining it in the journey to shore. This requires little energy, provides movement, and is exhilarating. Successful coexistence with other humans also involves joining energy and effort, avoiding rigid resistance to the energy of those around us.

Being- Life Is a Present Moment Experience

A day at the beach provides the opportunity to experience being in the moment. Absorb the sounds, smells, and sights of waves, wind, clouds, and other people similarly occupied with being. We realize we do not need to do anything to enjoy this slice of life. Just being there is satisfaction enough.

Co-existing- We Are All Favored Beings

The ocean supports an endless array of life. No one life form dominates. Oceanic life forms differ in appearance, feeding habits, territory, means of propagation, and reproduction. No one form seems favored. It seems the ocean is saying that no one way of living is the right way; each way is right for particular beings. As humans we can learn that no one way of living a human life is the only right way.

Eating is one the most important events in everyone's life. We enjoy eating - it's part of who we are and part of our culture. in fact, eating is the hottest universal topic of all times. We depend on eating- the foods we eat are the sole source of our energy and nutrition. We know so much about eating- we are born with the desire to eat and grown up with rich traditions of eating. But we also know so little about eating - about how the foods we eat everyday affect our health. We are more confused than ever about the link between diet and health: margarine is healthier than butter or not; a little alcohol will keep heart attack at bay but cause breast cancer. Eating is a paradox and a mystery that our ancestors tried and modern scientists are trying to solve.

Continental food on the whole could be considered international cuisine, particularly British, Australia, Newzeland and American. Those places not only have distinguished cuisine of their own, but are very similar in some way or the other, in term of the taste, ingredients, spices, flavorings, herbs and method of cooking-backed, grilled, stuffed, and sauted.

If ever there has been a classy cooking style, it has been French cuisine very old, Beautiful presentation may not be simple, but very elegant full of flavors. In modern time continental cuisine has probably came to term with a blend of all these international cuisine together and all with a touch of French class. Continental cuisine, in short can be categorized as cuisine involving bakes, grills, stews and barbeque, where a lot of fresh herbs are used for flavoring and chilly factor is minimal. Though there are preparations in particulars which use the spiciest of chilies also. Continental cuisine a style of cooking includes the better known dishes of various western European countries. The continental breakfast means a light breakfast that usually consists of bread stuff and coffee, tea or other liquid. Continental breakfast is the antithesis of the hearty English breakfast. Brioche, pastries, croissants also served as continental breakfast stuff.

There was a time when French cuisine was the hottest and very popular. But somehow it is no more as fashionable now. People are traveling more now. They are visiting places and experimenting with various kinds of foods. Since European food is healthier, probably it is being liked more.
